Grow

For preschool kids, one of the biggest open-ended questions they can be asked is “what do you want to be when you grow up?” When asked this question, many preschool kids tend to shoot for the stars. However, this question can be an easy way to introduce a unit on occupations and community helpers, two subjects that can be explored though games, activities, crafts and even guest speakers.

The Helpers in the Community

It’s important to teach preschool kids about the many tasks of community helpers, such as doctors, dentists, nurses, teachers, mail carriers, and police officers. Start by asking the children if they know any adults with these professions to see how much children know about the tasks associated with these various occupations.

When learning about doctors and nurses, try this fun craft called “Fix my Wound”. For this craft, trace the outline of the child’s arm or leg on a piece of paper. The children are to color or paint their limb including a small wound. Once the paint has dried, distribute band-aids to the children for them to place over the wounds on their crafts. Then, have each child present a story to the class as to how they got hurt and who helped them fix it.

Here’s a craft where children make police badges that’s perfect for learning about safety and the police. To begin the craft, cut out a number of badges from cardboard, and cover each badge with aluminum foil. Use stickers to decorate the badges, or try etching patterns into the foil with the stubby end of a paintbrush.

There are also a number of fun games for preschool kids to learn about the objects and tasks associated with various community helpers. First, cut out a number of pictures from magazines that are associated with community helpers, such as letters, stethoscopes, toothbrushes, or fire hydrants. Next, place a picture of each community helper on the wall and have the children match the objects to the corresponding person from the community.

“Special Delivery!”

Here’s another fun matching game that’s perfect for practicing what it might be like to deliver mail. Cut out a large number of different colored shapes, like triangles, circles, stars, and squares. Gather an equal number of mailboxes to the number of shapes, and label each mailbox with a picture of one of the shapes. Give the shapes to the children to place in the corresponding mailboxes. After all the shapes have been delivered, try the exercises again by sorting the deliveries by color instead of by shape.

Finally, here’s a matching game that teaches children good nutritional habits, which can be played in conjunction with learning about oral hygiene and dentists. Place two large teeth on the wall. One tooth should be white and sparkling clean while the other is covered with dirt and plaque.

Next, hold up a series of pictures of foods, both good and bad, and have children decide which food goes with which tooth. This last exercise in this preschool kids series can also be performed with real food, as long as there aren’t too many examples of bad food!

Although there is an undetected certain luck involved in the amount of height a person will reach in his lifetime, there are still some things we can do if we really want to grow taller. The genes we inherited from our parents are something we can not change, but we can comprise height-increase habits into our lives that will make sure we become as tall as these genes will allow us. In this article, we go through some of the most helpful of these habits.

Many people ask "how can I get taller?" and immediately expect that there's a miracle medicine that can be bought at the drugstore that will make them grow several inches overnight. Unfortunately, this medicine does not exist, and when we see adolescents seeming to grow overnight, it's really just a natural thing for people at their age to experience these growth spurts. Whether you're still an adolescent wanting to add inches to your height faster, or someone way past their teenage years wanting to maximize whatever height you can still squeeze out of your physique, there are a few things you should incorporate into your lifestyle which will help you achieve exactly that.

Adequate sleep should be the easiest height-increase habit you can get. The release of Human Growth Hormones (HGH) by our pituitary glands mostly during sleep, so try to get at least eight hours every night. Partying late into the wee hours is not bad, but should only happen occasionally. Speaking of partying, excessive alcohol intake and smoking cigarettes also inhibit calcium absorption and growth, and should therefore be avoided.

As to diet, another thing to keep in mind in your new height-conscious lifestyle is that too too fat intake can affect your ability to get taller. Although a healthy diet must include some fat, we who live in today's society already eat much more than we need, so cutting down is a good idea. What you should get plenty of instead are proteins and calcium. Beans and legumes, nuts, soy and soy products are good sources of protein, while milk is rich in calcium and should be considered a prime height enhancer.

Regular exercise such as weight lifting and brisk walking, running, riding a bike and others of the sort are also important for all-around good health and yes, for growth. Do check with a doctor first before embarking on any exercise program, just to be on the safe side. Somewhat more height-specific are stretches, especially those that target the spine and legs.

Lastly, there is a height-enhancement technique that is instant, natural, and will work on almost everyone. This secret is to watch your post. Standing or sitting, try to maintain a straight back and keep your chin up. You may find that this alone will add up to 2 inches or more to your height.

The global retail industry is progressing fast while undergoing a series of transformations. However, having a mobile app for the retail operations is still pointless for many etailers and store retailers. However, the scenario has become quite different now. Operating a retail business without mobile app will lead entrepreneurs to face many difficulties in exploring the newer opportunities in terms of wider customer connect.

Importance of Mobile Apps in Retail Industry

Mobile technology has become an inherent part of human lives. Thus, having a retail mobile app will greatly help businesses to offer easy access to product and store information to the customers. The retail owners must start thinking about connecting customers by deploying the mobile technology. Customers will prefer buying products from your store when they will find:

  • Relevant product information which, are easy-to-access from their smartphones.
  • Easy and quick product availability status.
  • Estimated date of delivery of the product.
  • Smartphone compatible payment modes like Apple Pay and PayPal.

Having these facts in mind, a retail mobile app will greatly help customers to stay ahead in the competition and maximise revenue to a huge extent.

Following here are some of the paramount benefits of building a mobile app for retail businesses.

Mobile Coupons for Greater Customer Acquisition

While considering this connected and fast-paced world, we can find almost every product everywhere. Thus, the quest lies that how to drive customers walk into your retail store? The traditional advertising methods like sign boards or television are expensive indeed. On the contrary, you can easily reach a huge cluster of audience by promoting unique selling points and in-store discounts via a mobile app or website. The customers can redeem these mobile coupons at the point of check-out counter.

Personalised Service with Geo-based Technology

Geo-based Technology helps retailers to track location of the customers and figure what they have been actually looking for. Collecting this significant information will allow them to send push notifications to customers along with custom discount coupons. Implementing geo-based technology will help entrepreneurs to track the existing customers near to their physical stores and drive them to make repeat purchases.

Streamlined checkout process

Mobile technology works as a growth booster and helps retailers to build long-lasting relationship with customers. With the upsurge of eCommerce, the retail industry faced serious losses as because online shopping offers greater convenience to buyers. Visiting a physical retail store and standing in long queues to make payments is certainly quite tiresome. On the contrary, online shopping allows customers to buy by just making a few clicks. Considering this loophole, retailers implemented the mobile technology and introduced the mobile credit card readers and ‘Scan & Go’ payment apps for dispersing the queues.

Considering the aforesaid advantages of implementing mobile technology into retail business, etailers must build a mobile app for making the entire shopping experience more convenient and more fast.

Grow tents are fabric boxes that are coated with heat and light reflective material on the inside. The tents offer control over indoor growing and work very well when incorporated with the right ventilation, bed materials and grow lights as well as nutrients for the plants being grown. Setting up an indoor cultivation system that is bound to be effective enough means that all these important components ought to work together. But the tent offers the overall protection to the indoor plants and hence it should be selected carefully for optimum results to be achieved.

Grow tent benefits

· The reflective surface of a grow tent makes sure that the plants get enough light output from grow lights used inside to ad growth.

· The tents also increase canopy penetration for the plants by redirecting the light upwards and sideways. When you have a grow tent you can be sure that a good percent of light will reach below the canopy.

· The tents work in maintaining humidity and temperatures that are even all through the grow space.

· The confined space offered by the tent offers grow bed ventilation system efficiency compared to if it had an entire room to deal with.

· Grow tents are also helpful in facilitating humidity, heat and removal of odors from the indoor growing space.

Considerations to make when buying

There are so many options available in the market today and it is easy to be lost for choice. But with a few considerations before or when buying your grow tent, you definitely will be able to select the most suitable for your plants.

Size – Grow tents come in different layouts and you can choose according to the type of plants you wish to grow and the amount of plants you want to accommodate in your space. Larger layouts are better in terms of offering better maneuverability within the grow space, whereas smaller layouts maybe easy to set up and manage. Select a layout that you feel works best for your indoor plants and their requirements.

Height – Whereas some tents come in standard heights, it is possible to find grow tents that make it possible for you to adjust the height according to plant or space requirements within the indoor garden space. The adjustable tents have extension poles that can be adjusted as needed and they come in handy in different indoor growing situations. Make sure the grow tent height you settle for is good enough for your plants depending on how high they can grow and suitable enough to also accommodate other indoor growing accessories.

Materials – A grow tent will only withstand the outdoor elements if it is made with sturdy strong materials. Consider the material thickness and strength as well as quality, so you can choose a tent that will serve your grow needs for a long time to come. You should also think about safety of the materials used so all surfaces remains safe and functional. A good tent should also come with reliable stitching and bug resistant features.

Usually when it comes to growing mushrooms, the most important thing that you will need to begin with is the mushroom spawn itself – this is what the mushrooms grow from, so it is an essential ingredient. Without it, it would be like trying to grow an apple tree without the apple pip – its never going to work. Usually the mushroom spawn will be especially created by a mycologist, and will normally consist of some kind of grain that has been impregnated with mushroom mycelium (mycelium is what the mushrooms come from).

You can create your own mushroom spawn several ways, but what most people don’t realise is that you can actually grow your own mushrooms from old stem butts, enabling you to re-use old mushrooms and start your own cycle of mushroom cultivation.

All that you need to do is to cut off a small section of the mushroom stem butt, no bigger then an inch long. It is important to try and use the bottom of the stem, with the bulbous part of the stem intact (this part is usually removed prior to preparing the mushroom for cooking and for packaging before being sold in stores). However if you have already grown some of your own mushrooms from some kind of spawn then you will have no problem getting hold of the healthiest variety of stem butts. You can still try using the stem from shop-brought mushrooms, but you may not have as much success.

It is important stating that not all mushrooms have this stem growth capability, and there are only a few varieties that are known to be able to re-spawn from their stems. These include Oyster mushrooms (Pleutrous Ostreatus), Parasol mushrooms, Morels, Prince, and many more.

All you need to do is remove a section of the stem butts, and get some corrugated cardboard. Soak the cardboard and then try to peel it in half, so that the paper is as thin as possible. Next, lay the carboard on a surface and place some of the stem butts on top. Try and leave around 6 inches of cardboard per stem butt. Cover the stems with the rest of the corrugated cardboard and then re-soak for a few minutes. Place the folded pieces of cardboard into an old box – cardboard, wood, or anything else that will keep the box moist, and then place it in a shady position in your garden before covering it with leaves.

What will happen is that the mycelium will start to grow through the pieces of cardboard, from the stem butts, using the materials in the cardboard as a food (mushrooms naturally grow on wood and so cardboard is ideal to use and is easier to break down). After a few months you will have your own cardboard spawn, and you can either use this to grow mushrooms on more cardboard, or you can mix this cardboard spawn with straw, creating an outdoor bed or mushroom patch, or you can try and transfer the spawn to other substrates.

It seems that today there is no limit to how we are able to connect with people via the internet. Most of the people Facebooking and Tweeting on a daily (or hourly) basis have a vested interest in connecting. I am speaking about those of us that make our living selling online. If you run an online business, you know about social media.

Some have embroidered this marketing trend to the fullest, while others have shunned it. Think you do not want to reconnect with schoolmates you have not seen in decades? Think again. These people knew you before you were a wife, a husband, a mom, a dad … a business owner. Unlike the dreadful small talk we are forced to end at awkward business networking functions, 'catch-up' conversation with old friends comes naturally. Sharing a common point of reference from your past, you are able to reach out and share 'good old days' stories. This is not only refreshing personally, it can be the start of a casual, yet profitable business networking relationship.

You have a greater chance at developing strong networking connections with old classmates, be they former BFFs or just mere acquaints, than a stranger at a business mixer. To ignore a networking tool like Facebook is to turn your back on a free, easy and fun connection to hundreds of potential customers, investors, partners and consultants. It is worth the time and effort setting not only yourself, but also your business up with accounts on these social media / social networking websites.

It is important, if not urgent, to note that there is an unspoken code of ethics when it comes to marketing your company via social media. You should be 'you' and not a weird, unfamiliar salesman version of yourself. When alerting your list of friends or followers to the fact that you even own an online business, you should do it in the same manner in which you might recommend a great restaurant. In other words, take care not to seem pushy or greedy. Mention that you have set your business's page up on Facebook and you'd love it if everyone 'become a fan' (which is the terminology used on Facebook for business pages.) On Twitter, include a link to your site (preferably by first visiting a site like tinyurl.com to condense the URL) and let everyone know that you would love for them to check it out.

If you get lousy results (no one 'fans' your page on Facebook and you can see from your Google Analytics that no one came over to your website via the link you 'tweeted' on Twitter) be patient. Bulk up the content on your company's Facebook page. A couple of times a month (between casual personal FB communications) update your status with something relevant to your business. The same thing goes for Twitter – tweet to your followers that you have added new products, services or content to your website. These things are all acceptable, but in moderation. Do NOT tweet each time you get mentioned in the press. Do NOT update your status on Facebook letting everyone know each time a 'great new product was just added to your website.' If all of your communications to the FB or Twitter community are business related, be prepared to see nothing but lousy results.

I have followed these 'rules' and had a nice amount of success on Facebook. I now have repeat customers that were once fellow Girl Scouts. I have also secured some great exposure for my site on prominent product review blogs through Twitter.

Since I found that social media sites work well for my business, I have since connected my WordPress blog to Facebook. This way, each time I add a post to my blog, a new note pops up on my business FB page. This casually shows up in a box on my personal FB page – not as a headline / status update – but literally as a side note. It is prominent, but not in their face. So, relax, have fun with social media and you can not lose, as long as you remember to be 'you'.

Think that you are too old to grow 3 inches or more?  You are NEVER too old to grow taller!  There are many ways to gain 3-4 inches in height but people just don’t know how.  Here are the best ways to increase your height and grow taller!

1.  Exercise!

The main topic of this article will be Human Growth Hormone, or HGH.  When you  exercise, your body produces about 400 percent more HGH than when you are resting.  Do a weight lifting workout at least 3 times a week.  Any less than 3 times and your body will begin getting rid of the HGH that you have worked on producing and you will gain no height.

2.  Sleep!

When you sleep, your body puts your HGH to work.  The time you are sleeping is the time that your growth hormones are taken into your bones and muscles.  Another aspect of sleep in growing taller is that, when you sleep, your body naturally relaxes and allows your spine to lengthen and your his to adjust to the proper placement.

3.  Eat Right!

I’m not telling you to go on a specific diet, but food intake is very important to growth.  You must eat foods that are very high in calcium, magnesium, and vitamin D.  These foods will promote bone growth and it will completely stop the shrinking of your spine as you get older.

4.  Hang!

This sounds stupid but it is proven to work.  find a bar of some sort and simply grab onto it and hang.  While you hang, relax your back and hips.  This will lengthen your back and align your spine properly, resulting in a taller stance.

Grow taller exercises are a great way to get those extra inches you need. That's what I've learned after using the program that changed my life. You know how guys always tend to fall in love or like girls which are shorter than they are. Well that was not the case for me when I hooked up with my current girlfriend. She really likes me but I indicated at first because she was a bit taller than me. Most guys would probably turn a taller girl than them down, but I could not.

When I met her and saw that she was taller than me, I did not talk very much with her even though I wanted to and she seemed to like me a lot. When she was not looking I would just gaze upon her good looks and wanted to be with her so bad. But a small part of my brain would not get pass the fact that she was taller and I would look weak when next to her. Instead of picking the easy way out and just not look interested in her, I picked the hard way. My only option was to get a few extra inches myself in order for us to look good together. So I started to look for something to help me get just that without having to spend loads of money. So I found a program with grow tall exercises which supposedly help you grow taller. The program included much more than grow taller exercises, it also had diets to follow to help stimulate the human growth hormone and how to sleep right.

Before I started, I gave the program a good read. After I saw that I could get taller, I called that girl and started talking with her. I even went out with her but we stood down most of the time and she left before me. In the meanime I began doing the exercises at home while also going swimming every day. After reading a chapter about proper food to eat, I saw that by getting a tan, you get your skin to produce vitamin D, which helps with bone growth. So I started to combine the grow tall exercises with the diet and getting a tan. That mean getting a good breakfast, then going to the beach and playing volleyball all day and swimming. It was perfect, I was hanging out with my friends while getting taller. The only part I did not really like was sleeping on a harder mattress without a pillow. That way my spine could rest in a straight position.

At the end of the summer, I measured myself again and saw that I earned almost 4 inches. I was so happy, not just because I got taller and I could go out with the girl of my dreams without feeling awkward, but also because I did something for myself. Instead of eating all sorts of junk food, I was eating cooked food now and lots of vegetables and fruits. I felt like those couple of months cleaned me and I was feeling great and more alive than ever. So if you want to get those extra few inches, I suggest getting some grow taller exercises.

Arizona and water issues for the future are an interesting issue as the Governor and her Drought task force move into a long-term workable plan. Such a compromise is necessary is AZ is to continue growth without devastating its food processing, farming and distribution and transportation industry in trade for housing and construction.

This issue is on everyone’s mind in AZ as the Bark Beetles is eating up the forests near Prescott, Fires have burned down thousands of acres in Show Lo and outside Tucson. As Yuma explodes in Population, as CA desert farmers use an abundance of water, housing continues to grow in San Diego’s North East County, Eastern side along the 8 and in Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Coupled with the intense growth of Las Vegas in suburbs of Green Valley, Summerlin, Centennial, Seven Hills, North Las Vegas and Anthem. In Tucson seeing housing growth on the West side and also heavy growth in and around the Oro Valley area.

In Phoenix much like Las Vegas the growth is staggering, unbelievable really. More golf courses using up to 10% of the water including Trillium in Queen Creek, Cave Creek Area, Another Anthem, Sun City Expansion, Glendale, Goodyear and surround areas and Awautukee Hills. Growth also in cities bordering the tri-sate area places like Lake Have a Brew, Bullhead City, Laughlin and all the way down river to around Parker, AZ. What do all these areas have in common? They all draw from the Colorado River, which is seeing stresses in it’s availability to supply the growing demand. So what is AZ to do? Well they have the SRP – Salt Water River Project. Which is really a river that is thousands of years old, unpredictable during certain periods of the year. That was until around 300 B.C. yes three hundred B.C., looks like Columbus did not discover anything except a whole bunch of people who were already Natives. In AZ Cortez could have come about 2500 B.C. and found whole civilizations roaming what are now the western United States.

The ancient Hohokam Indians were skilled farmers by that time of 300 B.C. and they over the years had built a series of gravity fed canals all the way from Flagstaff to Tucson if you can imagine that. And why not, Look at the Egyptians, Chinese and Roman and Greeks. They too were well adapted to building canals and aquaducts. All this during the European Feudal system, the tribes continued to modify and adapt their water flow to meet seasonal demand and flow rates needed for farming. The Hohokam like the Indians of the Four Corners regions who vanished around 1200-1350 AD, also left their lands in 1400s. Why? No one knows except maybe the Mountainous Indians might have come down for food and water after warring tribes taxed their infrastructure and they over populated their resources.

Mankind has always tried to manage his resources as the Earth is a hostile planet for any species living in the desert or anywhere on the surface of this little blue Planet. There are flows and cycles and logistical needs which must be met as Maslow would agree in his view of what is needed to reach such a pinnacle of society to find your self and your people self actualized.

The Hohokam had developed such an intricate system of water delivery in canals, dams, reservoirs, it rivaled Mullhollands project in CA, including the Fillmore dam, which has its own story: http://www.scvhistory.com/scvhistory/lat021603.htm.

The Chandlers, must have seen this and used these techniques along with Mullholland to assist in the California Acquaduct. The Hohokam had more than 200 miles of irrigation ditches on top of the river system. After they left, a drifter named Jack Swilling revitalized the canal system. Named the dam thing the Swilling Irrigation Canal Company, but folks in the region simply called it the Swilling Ditch. And a ditch it was as it brought water throughout AZ, some 1500 years after the Hohokam had mysteriously vanished. The Company was located in what is now and industrial section of Phoenix, but was once the main downtown area. 1868-1870 the ditch did very well, but Swilling died in a Yuma jail in 1870. The community kept adding canals and miles to the system and eventually it was 42 miles long, which was no real feat compared to the Tribal and ancient Indians.

Water is gold. Look at Saudi Arabia, Kuwait even Baghdad for that matter. Without water you have nothing. Water is gold. I recently talked with the Mayor of San Marcos TX who told me that the Oil of this century in Texas was water. He is not alone in his predictions as Billionaires have been buying up water rights in TX as fast as they can. Enron was trading water futures and why not. The Rio Grande does not have water flow the Gulf of Mexico anymore and TX, NM, NV, CO, MT, AZ all seed the clouds not. Sure beats the ancient ones and their rain dances, which we all ought to learn, after all it worked for them. The Hohokam left the area, why? Were they in periods of long droughts also and being farmers could not do without periods with no water? Without food to grow and animals to hunt on the open desert plain, what could they harvest or trade to live? William Bradford and Edward Winslow found ways to trade with the Indians to get the things they needed for the pilgrims.

http://www.baccalieu.com/squantum/aid.htm

Indians in such civilization had big trading needs and were able to get things to make their lives easier from other tribes and cultures. In 1902 many western leaders went to Washington DC to lobby for funds to build the infrastructure and in that year Roosevelt signed the National Reclamation Act. The Valley in PHX immediately worked to secure a loan to take advantage of that legislation and built the first of many larger dams and later reservoirs, The first of which was a huge dam in the Tonto Basin and the locals formed the Salt River Valley Water Users Association. The reason for this was due to the inconsistent problems such as the Flood destroying parts of the canal in 1891.

Then the drought of 1897-1904 brought even more havoc to the region, thus is my view for believing that these droughts are basically the 100 year drought cycles, the Indians without the huge dams and giant reservoirs were marvelous in normal years, but lacking in the drought periods. Coupled with fires from Lightening in Monsoon seasons across the PHX plain. Having water flow like the Colorado River Rapids in the beginning of the year and then dry in the late summers would not support year round life in a desert. About 12 people died building the dam and Apache Indians helped too, but were segregated in tents. This is why the Boeing named the Apache Attack Helicopter since they were the same Indians living in that region previously with ancestors still there today, some running casinos and making much money.

Typhoid swept through the work camp during the years it took to build the dam. The damn dam was completed in 1911 and thus Phoenix was free to grow big. The dam named Roosevelt dam was the first of several reservoirs. Mormon Flats, Horse Mesa, Stewart Mountain all dams and were used to generate electric power, some 53,000 kilowatts. After Tesla proved he could power up the world with water and deliver it via power lines until which time he could figure out a way to deliver it wireless.

During the Depression AZ had found it difficult to make payments on these enormous projects. AZ at one time developed more power than all the other reclamation projects combined. SRP, kept growing and delivering, it was formed as a restructuring move to catch up on payments. By generating electricity the desert has been able to keep water prices lower for the valley to have expotential growth. SRP is the third largest utility in the country. We will discuss some of the others in future studies including, Hoover Dam, nigara Falls, Bonneville Power and the Nuclear Gerators of our country and all the coal driven generation and the power and politics struggle between oil, natural gas, as well as the Tennessee River Valley Authority. SMUD and so many others in our upcoming study. In the case of SRP years of water rights fights continued and was finally settled with 35 original water rights owners claiming some 500 billion gallons which included Indians, farmers, municipalities, families all in Central AZ. SRP has other huge holding such as the Navajo Generating Plant which is coal fired in Four Corners Region.

SRP also has in place a 336 canal system hooking the PHX and Tucson areas to the Colorado River, which is now a large part of the water supply this was only put in recently in the 1980s, but has allowed the growth to continue and become even more strong, thus Maricopa and Pima Counties together rival that of Las Vegas Area growth, and folks that is friggin huge let me tell you, WOW. Today SRP has a 17% stake in Palo Verde, which is operated by APS and has contractors such as Betchel leading the charge in upgrades to make Palo Verde, which was once the largest Nuclear Generator in the Free World, the largest generator by a factor of 2. On Valentines day in 1980 the Roosevelt dam had its spillways running at 180,000 cubic feet PER SECOND, as the area was hit by ten inches of rain in three storms in five days, the level of water was averaging four inches from overflowing for 24 hours. SRP to the rescue. WOW. If that dam overflowed it would have created a waterfall 284 feet high, about twice that of Niagara Falls. No kidding. After that 400 million was spent to renovate and SRP has always been there for Phoenix residents. For information on this project and SRP after they celebrated their 100 year anniversary in Feb. 2003 click here;

Today SRP serves over 800,000 plus customers within a 2900 square mile radius. About 5000 people work for SRP, this is not a little project, this is a big deal for AZ and this is why they have been able to sustain the growth they have over the last many decades. Many issues are critical now with water levels down in the reservoirs ion NV feeding the lower Colorado River and the levels in the Roosevelt dam area, namely fish are more concentrated and less water means higher temperatures and many will die. But the problem is not as bad as many Salmon habitat rivers which are low or the minnows in NM.

The Rio Grande another story in itself. With the cut-throat and Apache trout populations. Mother nature has a way of balancing things out, but with mankind’s need for water and appetite for green lawns in deserts, golf courses and washing cars, it appears we are still going to need San Diego and Los Angeles to De-salinate like Tampa Bay. Jeb Bush and his team were really looking ahead as the drained everglades were threatening eco-system, farming industry and development on the world’s largest sand bar with no mountains, you might call it FL

It is truly amazing. I hope you can appreciate all this great nation has to offer and understand that infrastructure cannot be taken for granted and that it does not grow on trees. Be thankful America, of everything you take for granted. I am thankful of SRP for allowing such a wonderful market to come into existence so we can live well and wash cars. Without water and power you would have no city, no people, no roads and need no cars to drive on thus, washing is irrelevant. Thanks SRP and all those who came before me and made it so. Any one care to comment on the importance of water infrastructure projects, please post below, water is life, without the flow of water, we cannot sustain civilization.
